Open House – 2023

Join Us at the Station

The Arctic Institute of North America’s Kluane Lake Research Station at the University of Calgary would like to invite you to the 2023 Open House to be held at the Kluane Lake Research Station on Friday September 22nd, 2023.

Please contact KLRS if you would like your research or science to be included in the Open House, if you have any questions, or would like specific information about the event.

Program

  • 4–7 pm Science-fair style research showcase
  • 5 pm Community mural with Christine Koch (Kluane National Park Artist in Residence)
  • 7 pm BBQ dinner hosted by the St. Elias Lions Club of Haines Junction & live performance by Logan McKillop

All food and drink will be provided. Vegetarian, vegan, nut, lactose, and gluten free options will be available with advance notice.

If you require accommodation to support your attendance, please let us know. Accommodation at KLRS is in dormitory style shared cabins. Learn more about our facilities.
